About Us

Our Staff...

Holly Lane, Executive Director, was involved with Camp Fire as a child and became a volunteer club leader in 1989. Holly came to work in the Camp fire office in 1993 as a Project Coordinator. She expanded the teen program and developed the CF66 Service-Learning road trip. She enjoys camping and outdoor projects. Her work with teens continues to inspire and energize her.

Rhonda Moyer has been on staff for eight years and is currently Senior Program Director. She is a Lakeland native, mother of two and recipient of the Camp Fire Family of the Year Award. Her personal motto is “live to love, love to laugh”.

Marybeth Soderstrom is the Teen Program Coordinator of the Camp Fire USA Sunshine Council, a youth development not-for-profit in Lakeland, Florida that is dedicated to the mission of building confident youth and future leaders through co-educational programs that strengthen the individual, family, and community. She graduated from Florida College in 2008 with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. Marybeth has previously served as the chair of Camp Fire USA’s national Youth Advisory Cabinet and National Board of Trustees.

Jackie McQueen has been Program Secretary since October, 1991. She provides clerical support for all programs, including registration, mailings and store sales. She is a native Floridian.

Molly Johnson is a long time Camp Fire volunteer and Board Member and became part of the staff in May of 2010. Her position is funded by a grant from Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland to provide low-income child care centers with hands-on, educational field trips using curriculum following voluntary pre-kindergarten guidelines. Molly is energetic and enjoys working with young children. She is a Junior at Florida Southern College in the Nursing Program, after graduation she aspires to become a Pediatric Nurse.
