VALENTINES FOR VETS
A national service project, Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, offers Camp Fire members across the country an opportunity to honor the contributions of our Nation’s Veterans. The program includes a presentation from a local veteran and time for questions and answers. Over 500 valentines are made at the Sunshine Council, which are distributed at James Haley VA Hospital in Tampa.

NATIONAL ART COMPETITION
Camp Fire USA members all over the country enter the National art Competition held every year. The Sunshine Council, in collaboration with local community artists, offers a workshop that encourages young artists to explore new techniques for creating something using the art medium for each year’s competition. Mediums have included painting, fibers, printmaking, photography, clay, and open medium (multicultural art).

Tons of volunteer opportunities for teens and adults.  Planning and design starts as early as August.

ROCK SHOWS
